Chanel is a French luxury brand that offers a wide range of products, including clothing, shoes, jewelry, bags, wallets, watches, and cosmetics.

The founder, Gabrielle Chanel, also known as Coco Chanel, was born in 1883 in Saumur, in southwestern France. Her father was a traveling salesman, and after her mother passed away, her family was scattered. Chanel grew up in an orphanage and a convent.

Chanel's fashion often features monochromatic colors, inspired by the basic clothing she wore in the convent. During her time there, she also learned sewing skills.

In 1905, she worked as a singer in a cabaret, aiming to become a dancer. Her beauty made her popular, and she was affectionately called Coco, a nickname that led to the famous Coco Chanel (CC) monogram.

In 1909, Gabrielle Chanel founded "Chanel."
