Are the items offered by VUITTON VINTAGE JAPAN authentic originals or replicas?

All items on VUITTON VINTAGE JAPAN have been verified as authentic by our experts. In addition, we work closely with Louis Vuitton expert, Oliver Stehling, for an extra layer of authentication when we acquire our products.
Our thorough two-step verification process guarantees that every item is 100% authentic, giving you peace of mind.

Please note, VUITTON VINTAGE JAPAN has no official endorsement, licensing, or affiliation with any brand, and the brands themselves have not been involved in the verification of products on our site or in training our authenticators.

Despite our efforts to guarantee authenticity, if you have any doubts about your purchase, we offer a full refund in line with our return policy, should there be any issues.

Do the items include original packaging and documents?

Many of our items have been previously owned, so the original packaging, dustbags, authenticity certificates, manuals, and any other documents may differ. Therefore, we advise you to carefully read the description for each item for specific details.

What are the item conditions?

Since most of the items we list are pre-owned, they come in various conditions and qualities. That's why we use a general ranking system to classify them.
We have a condition ranking divided into 10 levels, but we do not sell items that are rated below 4/10 (in poor condition).

Do the pictures on your website accurately represent the items you have for sale?

Yes, all the images you see on the website are real photos of each item. We strive to offer detailed pictures that show any signs of wear and tear or unique features. You can find additional information about the condition of each product on its respective page.

However, it's important to keep in mind that "Back-order items" do not depict the actual item itself.

When you use the "GET A QUOTE" form to request a quote, we will provide you with real images of the items we've searched for each time.

How much is the shipping cost?

VINTAGE VUITTON JAPAN currently provides free worldwide shipping.
We ensure secure shipping through DHL.

Will there be any customs duties?

Customs duties vary by country.

Please note that customers are responsible for paying any import duties, goods and services tax (GST), value added tax (VAT), customs fees, and any other taxes in addition to the price listed on VINTAGE VUITTON JAPAN.

There might be delivery delays caused by external factors like customs clearance.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding customs duties, please contact your country's customs authorities for clarification.

What payment methods are available?

We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay and PayPal.

Do you have a physical showroom or retail store where I can shop in person?

As an online-only retailer, we do not currently operate a physical showroom or store, and we do not offer the option to visit our warehouse to view our items in person.

Returns and Exchanges

What is your return policy?

VINTAGE VUITTON JAPAN doesn't accept returns.

Despite our efforts to guarantee authenticity, if you have any doubts about your purchase, we offer a full refund in line with our return policy, should there be any issues.

In that case, please contact us through the Contact form. The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Additionally, please note that we will not refund any shipping fees or customs duties already paid. Please make sure to return the item without removing the protection tag.
If the protection tag has been removed, the item will not be eligible for a refund.

Do you accept exchanges?

No, VINTAGE VUITTON JAPAN does not accept exchanges.
